First omnichannel specialty store in Austria opens

syreta develops Omni-Channel System for LET'S DOIT Specialty Store

LET'S DOIT is the expert for tools, home, and garden and operates around 50 specialty stores. In Wels, the company has now opened Austria's first Omni-Channel specialty store. In this modern and trendsetting LET'S DOIT branch, many digital elements are used alongside competent expert advice, significantly expanding the product offering. The underlying data or Omni-Channel system was developed and implemented by syreta.
"This 'Store 4.0' is the future of brick-and-mortar retail," says Alexander Palnik, CEO of syreta, and also explains why: "Digital technologies are applied directly in the specialty store to connect the online and offline worlds of customers even better and more efficiently."
But not only the customers, but also the operators and employees benefit from the new technologies: The specialty stores usually have limited storage or sales space – with the help of the Virtual Shelf, a "extended" sales counter, the entire assortment with more than 20,000 items can be presented directly on site. The employees use this tool to show products in different versions and to provide detailed advice.
