A promising online shop for the Diaconal Work
A webshop that does justice to its products
The Diakoniewerk is a member of the Diakonie Austria and thus part of one of the five largest welfare associations in Austria. More than 3600 employees contribute their expertise and experience at around 200 locations. Meanwhile, the Diakoniewerk Austria can already boast 20 workshops, where people who have a harder time in the job market work every day. The dedicated employees in the workshops create wonderful unique pieces with creative designs and of the highest quality with joy and enthusiasm. The product range includes extraordinary decorative pieces and everyday items, clothing, lovingly designed toys, and sustainably produced food.
To ensure that customers can continue to shop online to their hearts' content in the future, we have now revised the webshop of our long-standing customer and equipped it with numerous new features and technical highlights. In the background of the shop, databases were linked so that customers can also learn more about the artist of the selected product in the future. This function not only provides information but also automatically creates an emotional connection. Who wouldn't want to know who the masterpiece they're about to purchase comes from? For easier product management and uncomplicated order processing, interfaces to the BMD merchandise management program and for shipping to the post office were also implemented.
New worlds have also been opened up for employees through the website relaunch. Syreta has created two additional user groups in the background of the webshop. Employees can now easily order products from the webshop using their own access and have them conveniently delivered via internal mail. Also, the company and all its departments were considered. Thanks to refined programming, departments can now order products like promotional items from other departments via an internal tool and receive them in the quickest way. Gone are the days when long and complicated phone calls or emails were necessary to receive materials.
We greatly enjoyed working on the new Diakoniewerk webshop. We hope you can feel that too.
