to Success Story

In 2018, LET'S DOIT tool specialist markets took a major and important step – into the digital future of commerce. In collaboration with syreta, a comprehensive, secure, and successful e-commerce solution was developed. Read the full success story here.

The Client: LET'S DOIT is the professional for tools, home, and garden. In around 50 specialist markets (own and franchise partners), customers receive a large selection of (branded) products and services. A great strength is the personal advice provided in the stores. The company is part of 3E GmbH, which acts as an umbrella organization and manages central administration (inventory, logistics, shipping, marketing, etc.).

The Challenge: The company was looking for a professional, secure, and successful all-around solution for digitizing its commerce in general and the LET'S DOIT online shop in particular.

The Solution: Together with the e-commerce experts from syreta, 3E gathered around the table – sales, purchasing, marketing, IT, logistics, franchise partners, management, board – and developed a sophisticated omni-channel system for LET'S DOIT. At the forefront are now the new online shop (with central logistics processes, database structures, and system landscapes), the customer loyalty program, as well as the app and Store 4.0. The website was also "mirrored" – meaning that the basic framework or the CMS (Content Management System) of LET'S DOIT is also used for the umbrella organization 3E and other subsidiaries (Bad&Co, Holzprofi). A cost-effective and efficient solution!

The Result: The company now possesses a strong solution that optimizes LET'S DOIT's online commerce and intelligently connects it with the stationary specialist markets. At the forefront is the omni-channel system from syreta. All channels (online shop, app, customer loyalty program, newsletter, virtual shelf, etc.) are centrally controlled, managed, and analyzed in one system: database, administration, CMS (Content Management System), PIM (Product Information Management), and analysis tools are accessible with just one login. A system that clearly presents information and is easy to use – saving time and costs.

The starting signal for the collaboration was given in September 2017. Only six months later – on April 4, 2018 – the omni-channel system went "live" – with around 20,000 products in the online shop.

Another milestone was then set on March 14, 2019 with the opening of the first omni-channel store in Austria in Wels.

Digital components, such as the extended counter (Virtual Shelf), the comparison zone (Scan & Learn), and digital signage screens complete the shopping experience for customers and seamlessly connect the online with the offline world.

With the implementation of the customer cockpit, an internal management platform for webshop activities, the path to even greater customer satisfaction was paved in 2020. The platform allows all webshop orders to be viewed and the order processing to be managed directly from the headquarters. This way, an overview of all order processes can always be maintained and quick reactions can be made in case of emergencies, such as delivery bottlenecks.

In 2021, the 3e group began rolling out digital pricing in the omni-channel store in Wels and continued this in the LET'S DOIT stores belonging to the group. The electronic shelf labels (ESL) are automatically fed with data from the product database that fills the webshop, thus always displaying current prices without any effort for the employees. Electronic price tags can also be used for support during inventory, which greatly facilitates work processes.

In the fall of 2022, LET'S DOIT also launched its own trade shop. This allows for purchasing directly in the store via the app at trade prices.

The fact that all umbrella brands of 3e AG have gradually implemented syreta webshops and work with our systems, completes the joint success story and once again proves the trusting collaboration.
